Flexfit Will Sponsor Ride for 9-11
 
Flexfit is proud to sponsor Ride for 9-11, an event created by the Los Angeles Firefighters Athletic Organization. In order to honor the thousands of lives lost from the September 11, 2001 attacks, members of the Los Angeles Firefighters Athletic Organization will be bicycling across the United States beginning July 24, 2011 in Hollywood and ending in New York City on September 9, 2011. Ride for 9-11 will be raising money for 2 charities, The Leary Firefighters Foundation and the Wounded Warrior Project. This nation-wide journey will touch base in cities like Scottsdale (AZ), Amarillo (TX), Oklahoma City (OK), Chicago (IL), Pittsburgh (PA), Washington (DC) and Philadelphia (PA).

This year, Flexfit has donated custom hats so that the organization can raise money and further its goals of enabling military personnel and firefighters to return home safely to their families.  One of Flexfit’s core values is improving the welfare of society and such an event epitomizes our objectives: promoting a healthy, fun and out-going lifestyles.

The Leary Firefighters Foundation, founded by actor/comedian Denis Leary, is an organization dedicated to providing proper equipment and training so that firefighters across America are well prepared and can come home on any given day. The Wounded Warrior Project, founded in 2004, is an organization that assists the injured men and women from their trials in Afghanistan and Iraq.
