Flexfit Sponsors Mauli Ola Foundation's Annual Surf Experience Day.

Flexfit is excited to be a title sponsor for this year's annual Mauli Ola Surf Experience Day tour, taking place in Southern California and Hawaii from May 16th through December 5, 2009, to benefit the health and well being of kids and young adults with Cystic Fibrosis.

Flexfit will be donating 500 official event hats, as well as providing a financial contribution in support of all seven of Mauli Ola's Surf Experience Day events. These surfing events will be held in Santa Cruz, Newport Beach, Santa Monica, Seal Beach, San Diego and Topanga, CA, with one event taking place in Haleiwa, HI.

Mauli Ola's Surf Experience Day was started as a way to get children and young adults with Cystic Fibrosis out into the ocean air and into the salt water where research shows great benefits to their health as a result of the beach's elevated saline environment.

The high concentration of saline in the air that surfing provides is proven to alleviate some of the negative effects that Cystic Fibrosis usually has on the lungs. For this reason surfing is thought to be a natural treatment for people suffering with Cystic Fibrosis.
